The Loft

We have a nearby place we were planning to use for a ski trip to Gore, with extended family of 9 people. Due to last minute plumbing problems, we had to find other accommodations just a few days before the trip. The Loft at the Remington was available and fit our needs perfectly. The place is very attractive inside and the 4 huge bedrooms with private baths worked out great. The pricing worked out well for a group our size, and Steve was very friendly an accommodating, with all kinds of suggestions for out-of-towners. The apartment is more spacious than it looks in images and was quite clean and well-appointed with all the necessary amenities. The attractive décor even included historic images of the building (including one of particular interest to my father-in-law, who use to shop here as a boy 70+ years ago!). For those who have not been to the area, please note that Chestertown is very small. There are restaurants and groceries, but this location would primarily be a base for most people to explore the greater area. Also note that there are a lot of stairs to get into the unit, if that is a problem for anyone. We had a great stay, and will be recommending this to friends and family who need accommodations while in area.
