Our first big storm of the season did not disappoint!
The grocery stores were jammed Saturday morning and afternoon, and then the flakes set in, in earnest. We ended up with 14″ just outside of Voorheesville.

And who was lucky enough to hit the fresh powder at Gore Mountain today? It must have been awesome!
I forgot to drag out my snowshoes, and instead went slogging through the woods with the dog, snow in my boots, soaked jeans, but all well worth it in the end. Happy dog and happy mom. What a beautiful day.
